Frequently asked questions

Everything you need to know before getting started with Sparky Invoices.

Getting started

What is Sparky Invoices? +

Sparky Invoices is invoicing for small businesses — draft, send, and track invoices, print or save a full letterhead document for your client, and automate recurring billing.

Do I need a credit card to sign up? +

No — the Lite plan is free forever, no card required. You only pay when you choose to upgrade.

Is it GST-compliant? +

Yes, on Plus and Max — HSN/SAC codes and your GSTIN appear automatically on every invoice.

Billing & plans

What happens if I cancel a paid plan? +

Your plan stays fully active through the period you already paid for. It simply doesn't renew after that, and your account moves to the free Lite plan.

Do you offer refunds? +

No — all payments are final, including for unused time in a billing period. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for full details.

Can I downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-cycle? +

Yes. Your current plan stays active until the period you already paid for ends, then switches to the lower plan at the next cycle — no partial refunds are issued for the difference.

What payment methods are supported? +

We accept all major cards, UPI, and net banking via Razorpay.

Product & support

How does my client pay the invoice? +

Today, you share the invoice with your client yourself (print, save, or send it however you already do) and record the payment once it lands — a manual step for now. A secure client portal for viewing and paying invoices online is in the works.

Can I pull in hours or expenses from other Sparky products? +

Yes, on Plus/Max — unbilled time from Sparky Projects and billable expenses from Sparky Expenses can be pulled straight in as invoice line items.

Is my data secure? +

Yes — see our Security page for details on encryption, backups, and data isolation between organizations.

How do I get support? +

Use the Contact page, or reach out from inside the app's Inbox — every plan includes support.
